Reconnect From Within

Energy work has been a very rewarding experience for me knowing that I have provided a pathway for a client to heal. Often times I have found my own energy dwindling or fading as the day or class went on. At the end of the week, I have felt my energy depleted even with clearing my energy each day and covering myself with white light.

For clients or students, many times their energy was all over the place; up, down, spiked etc. I wondered how was this going to affect their healing experience? How would this affect my energy in providing the space for them to heal?

I truly desired to be at my best and to keep my energy cleared, balanced and flowing for each client. For my clients or students, I wanted them to feel relaxed, centered and free from fears as we worked together. What could give me the results I so desired?

Recently I was introduced to a tool, which provided the answers I had been looking for. The tools are called Egyptian Healing Rods and they are making a tremendous difference.

Personally the Rods have enhanced my healing practice, by providing better focus, balance and sharpened intuition. They have increased my overall energy flow and kept me grounded and centered. They have been extremely beneficial when I use them between each client session for 5 minutes to cleanse the energy and to restore my own energy levels.

I also use the Rods to open the Chakras for myself and for clients. They also balance the Yin/Yang energies and strengthen the body’s bio-field. I have also found that they increase the lasting effects of energy modalities.

Many times I have my clients use affirmations and intentions either during or between sessions, since the Rods strengthen our focus, the power of the intentions and affirmations are thus now increased.

My clients enjoy the relaxation and grounding effects they receive before having their sessions. During sessions, my clients use the Rods as they help them focus and keep them relaxed during their healing session. Since the Rods are known to reduce stress many clients desire their own set of Rods to use at home between sessions to reduce daily stress.

The Rods last a lifetime and I simply clear the energies between clients with a tuning fork. It is that simple.

There are many types of Rods so choosing one for myself is certainly not the same that I would choose for clients. I truly like the Rods Kont for stress reduction, grounding and relaxation. Watch out for clients who are clinically diagnosed with low blood pressure as the Rods Kont naturally lowers blood pressure so this Rod is off limits to those individuals. The Quartz 2, are called the Universal Healers and are great for the majority of people. For healing professionals consider the Rods Crystal.

So if you are experiencing lost energy or just feeling exhausted after clients, you may like to consider the Rods as a tool for yourself first before sharing with your clients. I know these Rods can be a wonderful addition to your healing practice.

Stress, stress and more stress, what else can I say after working long hours in the corporate environment day after day. Meditation has been my lifeline to keeping me balanced, grounded and stress free. Each day for 10-15 minutes I would quietly sit in peaceful meditation to gently begin my day. Lately, my workplace stress level got so intense that my meditation became bombarded with thoughts of my to-do-list coming at me in a rapid-fire manner.

My frustration escalated as my trusted sacred time of meditation dwindled due to lack of time, loss of focus, loss of relaxation and the inability to quiet my mind. I was at a loss, since other relaxation techniques, like going to the gym, visiting an acupuncturist or working in my garden took much more time than I could manage in my increasingly busy work schedule.

What was I going to do at this point? I knew stress effects could lead to so many symptoms of dis-ease that I was determined to find a solution.

Luckily a dear friend invited me to a healing circle. She introduced the group of participants to the Egyptian Healing Rods. I was fascinated to learn about these Rods and their healing effects, not to mention the amount of scientific research supporting their effectiveness.

The energy of the Rods flowed along the healing circle as we each held hands and we were all lead into a guided meditation. Finally I was able to focus, the noise and chatter of my thoughts eased, and I was able to completely relax. I was amazed; I had not been able to achieve this level of meditation in months!

In addition, I learned the Rods reduced stress, balanced all my Chakras and brought Chi Energy back to allow my body to heal on its own. This time, my early morning 10-15 minute meditation began with a Rod in each hand; the energy began to flow and pulsate in my palms. The Egyptian civilization and culture has been a fascination for me since art school and has continued through the expansion of my spiritual path. The Pharaohs themselves along with their monumental architecture and sculpture have been studied for numerous years. Having viewed and gazed at the statues of the Pharaohs, have you ever wondered why the Pharaohs stand with their left foot in front of their right foot, hands held to the sides of their body and parallel to the earth? Have you ever wondered what are the cylindrical objects held tightly in the hands of the Pharaohs as you gaze upon these magnificent sculptures? I certainly have and so did Count Stefan Colonna Walewski of Poland. He began his quest of studying the cylindrical objects and thus published a manuscript of his findings. His manuscript became available in the USA in 1955 after his death. What Count Walewski discovered by translating Egyptian documents are that the cylindrical objects held in the hands by the Pharaohs are Egyptian Healing Rods. These rods assisted the Pharaohs, Priests and Priestesses in strengthening energy flows within their body and assisted them in manifesting their future.

The rods were made, one of copper and one of zinc. The copper rod associated with the Sun, which is held in the right hand, brings in Yang energy or male energy. The zinc rod associated with the Moon, held in the left hand, brings in Yin energy or female energy. Placed inside the rods were various sized quartz crystals, which would be changed out as the Pharaoh advanced on his path of self-perfection, healing and/or energy balancing.

Today, the rods are created exactly as they were 3000 years ago and we can experience the same healing energies, as the Pharaohs experienced. There are three basic types of Rods: Rods-Kont, Rods-Quartz and Rods-Crystal. All three rod types allow healing to take place as the rods increase the flow of Chi in the body, opening the energy fields, and thereby stimulating the body’s own natural healing ability.

The Egyptian Healing Rods have been scientifically studied since 1994 and have demonstrated that five minutes with the Rods is equal to thirty minutes of acupuncture. The studies have also shown: an enhanced immune function, a balance of male/female energy, an increase in vitality and when shared among couples the rods will harmonize the couple’s energy. This is a loving way to complete your day with your partner; energetically aligned.

All of the Rods carry their own energy signature, meaning they are different frequencies of energy. The frequency of Rods-Kont can be used to alleviate stress and insomnia, while Rods-Quartz can alleviate exhaustion and fatigue. The Rods-Crystal frequency is best used for expanding consciousness and for manifestation.

Selection of the Egyptian Healing Rods is not difficult. It can be done through intuition of matching your energy or issue with a specific Rod, or you could use a pendulum. It is important to make sure that there is an energetic match at the beginning stages to allow your body to adjust. As time goes on you can hold the Rods for longer periods, as you expand, you can then experiment with Rods at a different frequency.

I love using the Egyptian Healing Rods; they are safe, simple and fun to use. I find them a great tool to enhance my meditation practice by increasing my focus and deepening my meditation. When I feel out of sorts, I use them to re-balance the male/female energies thereby, stimulating the flow of Chi in my body. Using the Rods before any of my yoga classes allows my body to be in better flow with the Asanas.
Without a doubt, setting intentions and Egyptian Healing Rods go hand in hand for manifestation, no pun intended!
